They have cleared and grubbed within the construction limits. Excavation of the old structure should begin in the next few weeks.

MODOT Ribbon-cutting on US 50 intersection improvements

MODOT marked the occasion of its collaboration with UMKC Red Cone by hosting a ribbon-cutting at Route F and US50 in Jackson County.  Both Katie Horner (student project manager) and Dean Kevin Truman delivered remarks at the event.  It was well-attended with students from the design groups, representatives of elected officials, and MODOT personnel.
